Hi, my name is Teresa. I have a story to tell you.
It is not a scary story but it is true. It is etched into my memory still as fresh as the day it happened.
When I was eight years old I was sick all the time with Asthma.
Attacks were a common occurrence and when this happened I was having a very severe one. My entire family was worried
about how ill I was and kept a close eye on me continually through out the nite. As I remember I had pulled out a tooth
and was told to put it under the pillow that night for the tooth fairy to find. I was so ill I really didn't care about
the tooth fairy coming but did as my family said to keep them happy. Most of the evening is a blur because I kept passing
out from the Asthma attack and fever. It really tires and wears you totally out at times.
Sometime later
my family came in and woke me up. Some of my cousins were visiting and they came in as well. They were quite sure the
tooth fairy had come while I was asleep. We checked under my pillow and found a ton of change. At the time I didn't
really care all I really wanted to do was sleep. They stayed and talked to me until I dosed off again. Later when
I awoke and I was alone. Then I realized that there was someone else in the room with me, a beautiful Angel. My
sisters and cousins came back into the room to check on me again. I was excited that they had come in and asked them
if they could see her too. They wanted to know who I was talking about the tooth fairy or what? Thinking perhaps
she was the tooth fairy I tried to explain to them that she was in the room and hovering right there above the bedroom window.
I told them how beautiful and glowing she was. I could even see her wings! They couldn't see what I was talking
about. I didn't care if they could see her or not because I could just fine. They still tease me to this day about
seeing the tooth fairy when I was a kid.
Later I was told how close to death I came that night. I believe
I was lucky enough to see my Guardian Angel as she came to keep watch over me. Seeing her and knowing she was there
made me feel so much better. I told a friend what I saw that night. She felt my Guardian Angel probably did come
to comfort and keep watch over me. I have children now and they like the idea that someone special is watching
over us. I enjoy telling my story to anyone that is interested in listening. Hope you have enjoyed it too!
