I read Angie's story about the Ouija Board and I have a similar story to tell.
Oh and by the way, I live in London, Ontario, Canada also. I think that in its' self is a strange coincident.
My name is Heather. My friends and I played with an Ouija Board and something stayed behind in my
house too! The results in someways are similar to Angie's. I had terrible nightmares also.
Every
night as soon as I went to sleep the nightmare would continue from where it had stopped the night before. My dreams
dealt with strange and terrible creatures each one a nightmare to look at. These creatures were always touching, poking
me and kept trying to get me to go somewhere with them. I didn't know exactly where they were trying to take me but
you only had to look at one of these creatures to know it couldn't be good. Each night as soon as I fell asleep a new
fight to get away would ensue. These dreams went on for months. I agree with Angie on the fact that supernatural
dreams don't follow the rules. When you are trapped in one of these dreams each minute is a minute of time in the real
world as well.
I hated to go to sleep and would stay up for hours drinking coffee to stay awake. I think
the only time I slept at all was when I passed out from sheer exhaustion. If you have ever seen those Freddie Cruger
movies where the kids are trying to stay awake because they are too terrified of what will happen when they fall asleep, that
is exactly how I felt. A horrible fear of the next time I would sleep haunted my days. I always kept the lights
on incase I did fall asleep. When I was desperate for a way out of the dream I would try to focus on the light and pull
myself out of the nightmare back to the real world.
Every day I would try to convince myself that they were
just nightmares and couldn't hurt me. I reasoned that in the dreams they were always grabbing and poking me. If
these were more that just nightmares I would actually feel what they were doing to me. In the next dream I kept telling
them they were not real, not real, just a dream. Thinking I had figured it out I told them: "If you were real I would
feel it when you touch me, I don't, you are not real." They all grabbed me knocked me to the ground and tickled me.
This probably does not sound too bad but believe it or not I felt it all right, I woke up giggling. From that night
on the nightmares were even worse because had to stay away from them as far as possible. They would chase me, terrify
me and laugh the entire time until I could get myself out of the dream again. Eventually they did catch me again.
This was the worst dream I had of these creatures. I know they were attacking me they wanted to make sure I knew they
were real. When I woke up I had cuts on me. I was fully dressed and the cuts were under my clothes. My clothes
were not damaged at all. Even my shirt was still tucked into my jeans. I had to take my clothes off to see what
hurt so much. The cuts were each a few inches long. My skin felt like it was on fire and was red and swollen.
I had to put ice on them which eventually stopped the burning. It took a few weeks for these cuts to heal. That
was the last dream I had of these creatures. It seems they really wanted me to know they existed and after they had
proven it to their satisfaction they were done.
One other thing happened after the dreams stopped. My
boyfriend stayed over one night. We were in bed getting ready to go to sleep. He got up to get a drink of water,
I turned my night table lamp on so he would have no problem finding his way back. While he was gone I sat up in bed
and smoked a cigarette. I had a huge walk-in closet in my bedroom and had left the door open. I flicked my ashes
in the ashtray and looked up. Standing in the closet I could see a man. He had on a three piece navy blue suit.
Jacket, vest and pants, at the time I had the impression that it was pin stripped. He was also wearing pale blue shirt
and a dark tie, he must have been wearing shoes because I do not recall seeing bare feet. He had dark hair and a very
nice face. He was not doing anything just standing there looking at me very casually like this was perfectly normal.
The nightmares had stopped weeks before and I was awake but I knew there was no way a man could be standing in my closet I
said out loud to him: "Oh great now what?" His face changed as he smiled at me. His eyes were terrifying, I could
feel evil and hatred pouring from him like a living breathing entity. All the terror I went through in the dreams was
nothing compared to the terror his smile instilled in me. I shook from head to toe. I looked down at my cigarette
and hands which were shaking. When I looked back up he disappeared. When my boyfriend came back in he asked me
if I was talking to him. I told him what had happened and was still very shaken. He told me he believed me because
he had seen some pretty unexplainable things happen in my house too. He didn't want to talk about his experiences but
I was really relieved that I was not alone.
As far as I am concerned Ouija Boards are dangerous. They
act as a doorway between our world and a world no one in their right mind would want to be a part of. They should have
some kind of warning label on them like: If you are crazy and wish to become insane go for it! Hope you are doing well
Angie and thanks Little Seer for a place to tell my story.
You're quite welcome Heather. Another hair-raising experience, I had goosebumps big time!
We all hope you are doing well and thanks very much for your story.
Update: year given 1978, also in Southdale Rd. and Pond Mills Road area. Hmmm!
